Thornton-le-Dale Village Hub received the fantastic news in January 2020 that, following their 2019 achievements of winning Gold and Best New Entry in the Yorkshire in Bloom Competition, Thornton-le-Dale had been selected to represent Yorkshire in the Large Village Category in the Britain in Bloom final 2020. The Knit and Natter group at The Hall residential home had a lovely afternoon on Tuesday 3rd February knitting squares for a Bee Friendly blanket. Fortnightly meetings will take place from Tuesday 17th February at 1:30pm – all welcome along with a pair of size 8 needles!
